Introduction
When ordering from outside the European Union, the handling of customs duties is an important consideration.
Answer
Always use your personal address as the ‘invoice address’ and the Bringme Box address as the ‘delivery address’. If customs duties are incurred, you’ll receive an invitation to pay these at your invoice address. After payment, your parcel will be dispatched. Note that some courier companies may require payment of customs fees upon delivery, which is not feasible in the Bringme Box. In such cases, the courier will ring the bell. It's advised to check with the courier service in advance regarding their customs duty procedures.
