Some of the buildings where a Bringme Box is located have closed down due to the coronavirus. This means, among other things, that the Bringme Box is temporarily inaccessible there.
Do you still have a delivery sitting in the Bringme Box?
Don’t worry; your parcel will remain safely stored in the Bringme Box (and won’t be automatically returned). So you can pick up your parcel when the location is open again. Until then, you will receive a daily automatic reminder (in the app and/or email) that a parcel has been delivered for you. Of course, you can ignore these. If you urgently need your parcel (only in case of an emergency), please contact the Bringme Box administrator. They might be able to help you.
Is your parcel on its way to the Bringme Box, but hasn’t actually been delivered yet?
In that case, it is best to contact the sender (webshop) and follow the tracking number on the courier company’s website. Most likely, your parcel will be delivered to the nearest pick-up point of the courier in question. You can find that out via the courier’s tracking number, which the webshop can give you.
What should I do if I am unable to return my parcel in time because my business is closed?
We advise you to contact the relevant web shop and explain to them that you or the courier cannot pick up your parcel from the Bringme Box for return as the company/building where the Bringme Box is located is closed. The web shops may work according to exceptional measures in view of the corona crisis and this could be considered as mitigating circumstances.
You could also contact the administrator of the Bringme Box. Maybe he can get your parcel out of the Bringme Box for you.
