How can a courier open a larger compartment?

🔎 Introduction

The Bringme Box always opens the smallest free compartment first. If the parcel does not fit, the courier can switch to a larger compartment at the Box itself. This article explains how that works.

📃 Answer

  1. The courier selects the recipient at the Box, by typing the name or scanning the delivery label. You can read more about how a courier delivers a parcel to the Bringme Box.
  2. The smallest free compartment opens automatically.
  3. If the parcel is too large for that compartment, the courier selects a larger one on the touchscreen.
  4. The courier closes the compartment that is too small. The larger compartment then opens automatically.
  5. The courier places the parcel in the larger compartment and closes it. The delivery is now complete.

You receive a notification straight away that your parcel has arrived and is ready for collection.

💡 Tip: a parcel that does not fit in the largest compartment either cannot be delivered to the Bringme Box. Check the maximum size a compartment can hold before you order something bulky.
