Sometimes, parcels need to be handed over to someone who is not part of your organisation, like a client or a service provider. The Bringme Box makes this simple and secure: items can be deposited and a unique pickup code can be shared, without the need to register the recipient.

 

📃Answer

To prepare a delivery for someone who is not in your user database, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Bringme Box
  2. Select ‘Create a delivery’, then choose ‘DEPOSIT NOW – SHARE PICKUP CODE LATER’.
  3. Enter the parcel details
  4. Place the item in the assigned compartment and close it
  5. Check the screen for confirmation of a successful delivery
    • You can also request to have the QR code be sent to you via email at this point. If you choose this option, you don't need to follow step 6 and can simply forward the email to the recipient
       
  6. To grant access, open the Bringme app
    1. Go to 'Deliver & Pickup'

    2. Select the item you just delivered from the overview

    3. Select 'Share' and share the QR code via any app

Note: the code is single-use and grants access only to this specific delivery. After it has been used, it expires automatically.
