The Bringme Bell manages building access, while the Bringme Desk informs visitors about security measures and notifies the host when their visitor arrives. But what if preregistration doesn’t work? This article helps you step by step to check possible causes and resolve the issue.

If your visitor has not received their QR code, check the following:
✅ Are you using the correct email address?
- Always use invite@bringme.com to preregister your visitor.
- Alternative addresses (e.g., info@bringme.com) will not work.
✅ Did you send the invite correctly?
- The invitation must be sent from your calendar with invite@bringme.com in CC.
- If the email was sent as a regular email instead of a calendar invite, preregistration will not work.
✅ Is your email address linked to a Bringme Desk?
- When you send an invitation with invite@bringme.com in CC, the system checks which Bringme Desk your email address is linked to.
- If your email address is not connected to a Bringme Desk, the visitor will not receive a QR code
How to check this:

- Log in to the Bringme app with the email address used to send the invite.
- In the ‘Home’ section, check if there is a message confirming your connection to the Bringme Desk.
- Alternatively, ask your Bringme admin to verify your connection in Bringme Manager.
- If you are not connected, ask your Bringme admin to add your account in Bringme Manager.
✅ Is the visitor already a Bringme user?
- If the invited visitor is already connected to the Bringme Desk, they will not receive a QR code.
- Registered Bringme users already have access with their badge and do not need to sign in at the Desk.
