If your Bringme Badge doesnât seem to function correctly, it's important to follow a few key steps to determine the cause of the issue and resolve it effectively.

Follow these checks to ensure your badge functions correctly:
1. Scanning at the Bringme Box
- Scan your badge at the Bringme Box (you should hear a beep).
- Does your name appear?
- If a different name appears: The previous owner must be removed before you can use the badge.
- If no name appears: Link the badge to your account. If you have multiple badges, ask your location administrator to add a second badge using the UID number.
2. Function at doors and the Bringme Box
- Does the badge work only at one door, or is it the same across all doors and the Box?
- Specify which door or badge reader doesnât respond.
- What appears on the screen of the non-functioning badge reader? Please send a photo.
- What appears when you scan or hold your badge at the reader? A photo is helpful.
- Do you hear the door unlock?
3. Temporary or ongoing issue
- Was this a one-time problem or is it still occurring?
