How can I change the password for the Meetme app on my Bringme Home Control?

🔎Introduction

If you use the Bringme Home Control (via Fermax) in your apartment and have access to the MEET ME app, you may need to change the Family Pack login password. This is especially important when a resident moves out of the apartment, as the existing password remains active. This means the previous resident could still access the building using the MEET ME app until the password is changed. To prevent unauthorized access, it's essential to update the password as soon as a new resident moves in.

📃Answer

Step 1: Activate the Bringme Home Control
Touch the screen to wake up the device.

Step 2: Access the Passwords screen

  • Tap the Settings icon in the bottom-right corner

  • Tap the Passwords icon

  • Select MEET ME from the list of options

Step 3: Enter the current password

  • If you're changing the password for the first time, use the default password found on the license label of your monitor

  • Confirm this password to proceed

Step 4: Create a new password

  • Use the on-screen keyboard to set a new password

  • The password must be 8 characters long, including both letters and numbers

  • Re-enter the new password to confirm

Step 5: Confirmation and possible error messages
After confirmation, one of the following messages may appear:

  • SETTINGS SAVED – The new password was successfully saved. The old password is now invalid. You must now log in again in the MEET ME app using the new password.

  • INVALID USERNAME OR CURRENT PASSWORD – The entered credentials are incorrect. Try again.

  • PASSWORD MUST CONTAIN 8 LETTERS OR NUMBERS – The new password does not meet the requirements. Update and try again.

  • NEW PASSWORD ERROR – The new password and its confirmation do not match.

Important:
Once a new password is set, the original password from the license label is permanently deactivated and cannot be recovered. Make sure to store the new password safely.
