🔎Introduction
The Bringme Bell allows you to communicate with your visitors via video call when they ring the Bell. You can then open the door remotely to grant them access to the building.
📃Answer
The Bringme Bell uses SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) to make calls. This means that the calls are performed via the internet, not through the traditional phone network. As a result, mobile phones or landlines that rely on the phone network cannot receive calls from the Bringme Bell by default.
To receive these calls on a phone without the use of an app, the phone must be configured with a SIP provider. Please note that Bringme does not provide support for this setup.
Bringme offers several apps and hardware solutions that support SIP communication. These are the easiest way to receive calls from the Bringme Bell. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to determine the best option for your specific situation.
