🔎Introduction
This article provides IT administrators with the necessary steps to enable Single Sign-On (SSO) via Microsoft Entra ID for your organization's users on the Bringme App. By setting up Microsoft SSO, employees can quickly and securely log in using their Microsoft accounts—both work and personal—making access to Bringme faster and more efficient. This guide walks you through the configuration process, ensuring that your organization's users can enjoy a seamless and secure login experience.
📃Answer
Below are the available options to enable access, depending on your organization’s security preferences.
Prerequisites: A Microsoft Entra Administrator Account is required for the following steps.
Option 1: Approve the Bringme app for your organization (recommended)
The easiest and most user-friendly approach is to grant access once for all users.
Use the admin consent link
Steps:
- Open the link above
- Sign in with a Microsoft Entra administrator account
- Review the requested permissions
- Click Accept
Result
- All users can sign in with Microsoft immediately
- No approval requests are needed
- The Bringme app will appear in Enterprise Applications
Alternative: Approve via the Entra admin center
If the app already exists in your tenant:
- Open: https://entra.microsoft.com
- Go to: Identity → Applications → Enterprise applications → All applications
- Search for Bringme App
- Open Permissions
- Click Grant admin consent
Note: The Bringme app will only appear here after a user has attempted to sign in or requested access.
Option 2: Allow user consent (less restrictive)
You can allow users to approve the app themselves.
Steps
- Open: https://entra.microsoft.com
- Go to: Identity → Applications → Enterprise applications → Consent and permissions → User consent settings
Or go directly to: https://entra.microsoft.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ConsentPoliciesMenuBlade/~/UserSettings
Enable one of the following:
- Allow user consent for apps (least restrictive)
- Allow user consent for verified publishers / low-risk permissions (recommended by Microsoft)
- Save your changes
Result
- Users can sign in without admin involvement
- No approval requests are required
Consideration
- Less control over which apps users can access
- May not align with stricter security policies
Option 3: Keep admin approval required (most restrictive)
You can require admin approval for all applications.
Recommended setup
If you choose this option, make sure the approval process is properly configured.
Steps
- Open: https://entra.microsoft.com
- Go to: Identity → Applications → Enterprise applications → Consent and permissions → Admin consent settings
- Enable the admin consent workflow
- Assign one or more reviewers
- Save your configuration
👉 Microsoft documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/enterprise-apps/configure-admin-consent-workflow
Result
- Users must request access before signing in
- Admins review and approve each request
Consideration
- More secure, but slower onboarding
- Users may be blocked if no reviewers are configured

- If users in your organization cannot sign in with Microsoft, it is usually due to consent and permission settings in Microsoft Entra ID.
What if signing in with Microsoft doesn’t work?
In some cases, signing in with Microsoft Entra ID may not work as expected. Below are the most common reasons and how to resolve them.
-
Email address doesn’t match
If the email address of your Microsoft account does not match the email address of your Bringme account, sign-in will fail.
What you might see:
-
How to fix this:
- Make sure you use a Microsoft account with the same email address as your Bringme account
- Or sign in using your email address instead
-
No Bringme account yet
Microsoft sign-in only works for existing Bringme users. If you don’t have a Bringme account yet, you won’t be able to sign in.
What you might see:
-
How to fix this:
- Contact your Bringme administrator to request access
- Once your account has been created, you can sign in using Microsoft
-
Admin approval required (enterprise accounts)
In some organizations, Microsoft requires admin approval before you can use certain apps.
If your organization has restricted access, you may see a message asking for admin approval.
What you might see:
-
What happens:
- You can request access directly from the sign-in screen
- Your IT administrator will be notified
- You will receive an email once your request is approved
- In the meantime the Bringme App will show the following message: “Couldn’t sign in with Microsoft. Please try again or sign in with your email.”
How to fix this:
- Request approval and wait for your admin to grant access
- Or contact your IT department directly for faster approval
