How to manage your notification settings in the Bringme App?

🔎 Introduction

You decide yourself how Bringme keeps you informed: with a push notification on your phone, with an email, or with both. This article shows where you find these settings in the Bringme App and how to change them. You can adjust them again at any time.

📃 Answer

Where to find your notification settings

  1. Open the Bringme App and click the three horizontal lines at the top left.

  2. Click your first name at the bottom left and select Account.

The two options

  • Push: notifications that appear directly on your mobile device.
  • Email: notifications sent to the email address linked to your account.

Both work independently of each other. If you switch email off, your parcels still arrive in the Bringme Box, but you no longer receive an email about them.

💡 Tip: push notifications are switched off when you first download the app. The app asks you once whether you want to allow them, so if you skipped that question, this is where you switch them on.

Good to know

  • These settings apply per account. If several people at your address each have their own account, everyone sets their own preferences.
  • Push notifications also need to be allowed for the Bringme App in the settings of your phone.
  • Curious which notifications you can receive? You will find the overview in this article.
  • Not receiving anything even though everything is switched on? Work through what to do if you do not receive a notification email for a delivery.

Still have a question?

Does this article not answer your question, or do you have another one? You can always ask Jaimie, our AI Agent. You will find Jaimie in the bottom right corner of the Bringme App, in the Bringme web app, or after logging in via bringme.com. Jaimie is still in beta and learning as she goes, so the feedback you leave after a conversation helps her get better.
