ARTICLE 2. WHICH PARCELS?
To send your parcel via Collect by bpost, your parcel must be:
- correctly franked to be sent via bpost.
- packaged in compliance with bpost guidelines (the same as those applicable when sending it from the post office), and particularly, in a sturdy, carefully wrapped, rip-proof parcel that is suited for transport and/or storage, and which can withstand moderate weather conditions.
All the conditions to prepare your parcel are available here: https://www.bpost.be/site/nl/verzenden/pakjes-verzenden/een-pakje-voorbereiden
If the Addressee's address data is incorrect or incomplete, bpost will return the parcel to the shipper.
ARTICLE 3. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROPER SHIPMENT OF MY PARCEL?
Who ships my parcel?
Bringme has a contract with bpost for picking up and sending your shipments. By making use of a reliable service provider, we can ensure users will get the best service possible.
Who is responsible for the proper shipment of my parcel?
By partnering with bpost, Bringme will be able to provide the best service possible with the lowest possibility of lost or damaged parcels.
Bringme is always responsible for your parcel once it has been properly deposited in the Bringme Box.
If you are a private User and something has gone wrong with your parcel when it is transported from the Bringme Box to the bpost depot/sorting centre and/or from delivery in the depot/sorting centre, bpost is responsible in accordance with its applicable conditions. Once your parcel is at the bpost sorting centre or depot, it becomes part of the normal postal traffic and bpost is responsible for it, as it is when you drop off your parcel at the post office. See http://www.bpost.be/sites/default/files/pagina/GTC_bpost_NL_2018_WEB.pdf
Bringme is never liable for delays in the performance or non-performance of the Collect services performed by bpost.
