How to activate your Bringme Badge?

🔎 Introduction

A new Bringme Badge does not work straight away. You activate it once at the Bringme Box or the Bringme Desk, so the badge is linked to your account. This article shows you how to do that, step by step.

📃 Answer

Take your Bringme Badge and your smartphone with you to the Bringme Box or the Bringme Desk.

1. Hold your Bringme Badge against the key symbol underneath the screen until you hear a beep.
2. Open the Bringme App and select My QR code. In this article you can read where to find your QR code.
3. Hold your QR code in front of the scanner, approximately 20 cm away and at a slight angle. This article explains how to scan correctly.

Your Bringme Badge is now linked to your account. From now on you open the Bringme Box by holding your badge against the key symbol, so you no longer need to open the Bringme App. You can read more about this in this article.

Still not working?

• Wait for the beep in step 1 before you show your QR code.
• Increase the brightness of your phone screen, a dim screen can be hard for the scanner to read.
• Check that you are logged in to the Bringme App with the email address of your Bringme account.
• Start again from step 1 if the activation did not go through.
