Do I have to register with Bringme in order to use the Bringme Box?

Any courier service or online shop can deliver a parcel in the Bringme Box, which makes it a flexible way to receive your orders. To receive a delivery, you do need a Bringme account that is connected to that Bringme Box. In this article you read why that is needed and how you get connected.

Why you need an account

When a courier delivers a parcel, they select you as the recipient at the Bringme Box. Because your account is connected to that Box:

• you receive a notification as soon as your parcel has arrived
• your parcel is linked to your account, so you can always see which delivery is waiting for you
• only you can open the compartment, with the QR code or the personal access code in the Bringme App

Without an account, the courier cannot select you as the recipient and your parcel cannot be delivered.

How you get connected to the Bringme Box

There are two possibilities, depending on your location.

• Your administrator connects you: at most locations, the Bringme Admin decides who can use the Bringme Box. You receive a confirmation email as soon as the admin has connected you, and from that moment you can receive your parcels in the Bringme Box.
• You connect yourself: at some locations you can do this yourself. You scan the QR code on the touchscreen of the Bringme Box and create your account, so you can use the Box right away. This article takes you through it step by step.

Not sure which applies at your location? Scan the QR code on the home screen of the Bringme Box, at the bottom left. You are then either guided through the setup yourself, or you see the contact details of the administrator of your location.

💡 Tip: in the Bringme App, open Deliver & Pickup and press the info button next to the name of your Bringme Box. You then see the details of that Box, such as the serial number and the address.

💡 Tip: does your Bringme Box also have a mailbox of your own? Connecting yourself only gives you access to the shared compartments. Ask the administrator of your location to link your account to your own mailbox as well.
