How to renew your QR code?

Your QR code, and the code of 8 characters underneath it, is your personal access code for the Bringme Box. You can replace it yourself at any time, for example after you shared your code with a colleague, a family member or a roommate, or when you think someone else has seen it. In this article you read how to renew your code in the Bringme App and in the web version of the Bringme App.

💡 Tip: is your QR code not being read at the Bringme Box? Renewing it is usually not the solution. In this article you read how to scan your QR code correctly.

📃 Answer

In the Bringme App

1. Open the Bringme App.
2. Tap My QR code on the home screen.
3. Your current QR code appears, with your code of 8 characters underneath it.
4. Tap Renew code, just below the QR code.

In the web version of the Bringme App

1. Go to app.bringme.com and log in.
2. On the home screen, open the tab Deliveries & Pick Up. Your QR code is shown there.
3. Click Renew code, just below the QR code.

What changes after you renew

• Your new QR code and your new code of 8 characters work immediately, on every device you are logged in on.
• Your old QR code and your old code of 8 characters stop working right away, so anyone you shared them with no longer has access.
• Your deliveries stay linked to your account, so you can still collect everything that is waiting for you in the Bringme Box.
