How to migrate from the old Fermax MeetMe app to the new Fermax MeetMe app?

This guide walks you through the process of migrating from the old Fermax MeetMe app to the new Fermax MeetMe app.

You have to create a new account in the new app, and finally transfer your old data. It’s essential not to delete the old app before completing these steps.

You should create only 1 account. After the migration, all the users should login with this new account.

step 1: Log in to the old MeetMe app

• Open the old Fermax MeetMe app on your phone
• Log in using your existing username and password.
• Do not delete this app yet.
  

step 2: Download the new MeetMe app

• Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
• download the new version of the MeetMe app.
  

step 3: Create a new account

• Open the new MeetMe app.
• On the login screen, tap “Sign up” under "Are you a new user?"
  Even if you already have an account in the old app, you must create a new one here using your email address.
  

step 4: Set a password and accept terms and conditions

• While creating your account, follow the on-screen password requirements.
  • must contain at least 8 characters
  • must contain at least a lowercase letter
  • must contain at least a capital leteer
  • must contain at least a number
  • must contain at least a symbol
• Criteria will highlight in green as you meet them. 
  
• Accept the terms and conditions and tap "Next".

step 5: Verify your email

• A verification code will be sent to your email address.
• Retrieve the code from your inbox and enter it into the app or click on the button in the e-mail to complete the sign-up process .
  
  

step 6: Transfer your old data

• Once logged in to the new app, you will see an option to transfer data from the old app. Tap “Already a MeetMe User” to start the migration. 
  
• Once the migration is done, you will end up on a confirmation screen that says that the data was imported succesfully. Click the start button to start using the app
  

step 7: Finalize migration

• After confirming the data transfer, the old MeetMe app will no longer function.
• You can now delete the old app if you wish.
