How do I use the new Meetme app?

🔎Introduction

The Fermax MeetMe app lets you receive calls from your Bringme Bell on your smartphone and open the front door. A new version of the app is now available, and it differs from the previous version in a few important ways. This guide takes you from downloading the new app to linking it to your home.

Step 1: Download the new MeetMe app

• The new MeetMe app has an icon with a small house:
  
• Open the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android).
• Search for “Fermax MeetMe”.

• Download the new Fermax MeetMe app.

  

Step 2: Create a new account

• Open the new MeetMe app.
• On the login screen, tap “Sign up” next to “Are you a new user?”.
• Even if you already have an account in the old app, you must create a new account here using your email address.

Step 3: Set a password and accept the terms

• Follow the password requirements shown on the screen:
  • At least 8 characters
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one symbol
• Each requirement turns green as soon as it is met.

• Accept the terms and conditions and tap “Next”.

Step 4: Verify your email address

• A verification code is sent to your email address.
• Find the code in your inbox and enter it in the app, or tap the button in the email to complete the sign-up.

Step 5: Add your dwelling

• Select “Add a new dwelling”.
• Enter the code that is either:
  • shown on your Home Control, or
  • provided by your building manager.

• Important: in the new MeetMe app, each dwelling has one main user. This is the first person who installs the app and logs in with the code. This user then shares the password with the other people in the household, so everyone in the same dwelling uses the app with the same account.

• Log out and log back in with your email address and new password to confirm the account works.
