🔎 Introduction
You use the Bringme App to receive parcels, to open doors and to get notifications, so the app holds some personal information about you. This article explains which data that is, what it is used for, who can see it and how you keep control over it.
📃 Answer
Which data Bringme keeps
Your Bringme account holds the details you need to use Bringme: your name, your email address, your phone number if you added one, and the location you are linked to. Bringme also keeps track of what happens on your account, for example a parcel that is delivered for you or a door you open.
What your data is used for
Your data is used to let you use Bringme and to keep you informed, for example to notify you that a parcel has arrived. Your data is not sold to third parties. It is only shared with partners who work for Bringme under contract, or when the law requires it.
Who can see your data
The organisation or building you are linked to, for example your employer or your building manager, decides who uses Bringme at your location. Bringme processes the data of app users on their behalf. Administrators at your location can see the account details they need to manage users.
How your data is protected
Bringme is certified for ISO 27001, the international standard for information security, and works in line with ISO 27701 for privacy. Your data is stored securely and is not passed on to countries outside the European Economic Area without the safeguards required by European privacy law.
