đIntroduction
When a courier makes a delivery in a Bringme Box, the recipient normally has to be selected manually by typing in their name. This process can lead to errors. To improve efficiency and reduce mistakes, Bringme offers OCR (Optical Character Recognition) scanning of labels. This option automates recipient selection and is available at an extra cost. For activation and pricing details, please contact helpcenter@bringme.com.
đAnswer
When OCR scanning is activated, the courier simply needs to present the parcelâs label to the Boxâs camera. The scanner will detect the name on the label, match it to the correct user in the system, and automatically open a compartment.
How to make a delivery using OCR scanning:
Select âDeliverâ on the home screen of the Box.
The camera will activate.
Hold the parcelâs label in front of the camera so it is clearly visible and the name can be detected.
A compartment will open automatically.
Place the parcel inside and close the door.
A proof of delivery will be displayed on the screen.
