How to stop notifications about a package coming from an empty compartment?

Introduction

Every time a delivery is made in the Bringme Box on your account, you will receive an initial notification. If you do not pick up a parcel, we will keep sending you reminders to make sure you do not forget your delivery. The notifications are triggered by the sensors in the compartments that detect the parcel. Sometimes, these sensors experience an error, leading them to continue sending notifications even tough you have already picked up the parcel.

Answer

Step 1: Recheck the Compartment

Scan your access code at the Bringme Box and verify once again that the compartment is indeed empty. Make sure that there is no overlooked package, dust on the sensors, a piece of leftover cardboard, or a loose metal strip.

Step 2: Check the Bringme App

Close the compartment and verify in the Bringme App (Home tab) whether it indicates that you have picked up the package. If the app indicates that your package has been picked up, the notification will also be stopped, and everything is in order. If the notification persists that you need to pick up the package, contact us when you are at the Box so that we can reset the compartment in its empty state.

Step 3: Contact Helpcenter

Our Helpcenter will guide you through additional troubleshooting steps and work to resolve the matter efficiently.

Call us at the number +3216980243 when you are in front of the Bringme Box and provide the location of the Bringme Box along with your account details so that we can locate the compartment causing the incorrect notification.
