🔎 Introduction
Every time a parcel is delivered in the Bringme Box on your account, you receive a notification. If you do not collect it right away, we keep sending reminders so you do not forget your delivery. These notifications are triggered by sensors in the compartments that detect the parcel. Sometimes a sensor does not register a pickup correctly, so you can keep receiving reminders even though you already collected your parcel.
📃 Answer
Mark the parcel as picked up yourself
The easiest way to stop the reminders is to mark the parcel as picked up yourself in the Bringme App. This option appears 24 hours after the parcel was delivered, at the same time as your first reminder.
- Open the Bringme App and go to the Deliver & Pickup tab.
- Find the delivery and tap "Mark as picked up".
The reminders stop straight away and the compartment is recalibrated automatically, so it is ready for the next delivery. You can read the full steps in this article.
Still receiving reminders?
Is the option above not available yet, or do the reminders continue anyway? Then check the compartment itself.
- Scan your access code at the Bringme Box and check that the compartment is really empty. Look for a parcel that was overlooked, dust on the sensors, leftover cardboard, or a loose metal strip.
- Close the compartment and open the Bringme App. Go to the Deliver & Pickup tab and check whether the app shows the parcel as picked up. If it does, the reminders stop and everything is fine.
Ask Jaimie to open the compartment
Do the reminders keep coming after this check, or does the compartment not open when you scan your access code? Ask Jaimie, the AI Agent of Bringme, while you are standing at the Bringme Box. Jaimie looks up your delivery and can open the compartment for you straight from the chat, so you can check that it is really empty and close it again.
💡 Tip: Jaimie needs to see the deliveries linked to your account, so ask her from the Bringme App, from the web version of the Bringme App or after logging in via bringme.com.
