What to do when you have an issue with the Bringme App?

🔎 Introduction

Does the Bringme App on your smartphone not open, or does it not work as expected? A few simple steps usually solve it. And while you sort that out, you can keep using Bringme through a web browser or with your badge. In this article you read how to do both.

📃 Answer

Fix the app in four steps

  1. Log out of the Bringme App and log back in.
  2. Check whether you have the latest version of the Bringme App installed. If not, update it in the App Store or the Play Store.
  3. Restart your smartphone.
  4. Check that your smartphone runs the latest version of its operating system (iOS or Android) and install the update if there is one.

Keep using Bringme in the meantime

You can use Bringme in a web browser, on your smartphone or on your computer.

  1. Go to app.bringme.com.
  2. Log in with the email address linked to your Bringme account.
  3. You now see your notifications and your personal access code.
  4. At the Bringme Box, scan your QR code or enter the code of 8 characters shown below it.

💡 Tip: this article shows you the login steps in a browser, step by step. You also find your personal QR code and alphanumeric code after logging in on bringme.com, as explained in this article.

Do you use a badge?

A Bringme Badge, a Bringme Key or a compatible NFC tag that is linked to your account keeps working at the Bringme Box, also when the app does not. In this article you read how to collect your parcels without the app.
