The Bringme system is designed to function optimally with the Bringme app. The app provides the best user experience and maximum convenience for receiving visitor notifications, informing them that you are on your way, and signing them out.
If using the app is not possible, some alternatives are available:
- Web app: Notifications will appear in the feed, but no push notifications will be sent to your device.
- Email notifications: If enabled, an email will be sent when a visitor signs in. However, you cannot use this method to inform the visitor that you are on your way or to sign them out. This means the evacuation list in the Bringme Manager will not be updated, which could conflict with your company’s safety policies.
In short, while alternatives exist, they come with limitations. The Bringme app remains the best way to ensure a seamless experience and full system functionality.
