What if you do not receive a notification email for a delivery in the Bringme Box?

🔎 Introduction

You are expecting a parcel in the Bringme Box, but you no longer receive a notification email when a delivery arrives. The checks below explain most situations and take only a few minutes. If none of them helps, you will find at the bottom what to have ready so we can trace your delivery.

📃 Answer

1. Check your notification settings

You choose per account whether you receive push notifications, email notifications or both. If email notifications are switched off, your parcels still arrive in the Bringme Box, but no email is sent.

  1. Open the Bringme App, tap the three lines at the top left and then your first name at the bottom.
  2. Select Account and open the Notifications tab.
  3. Under Notification settings, switch on both push notifications and email notifications.

You will find more details in how to manage your notification settings in the Bringme App.

2. Check your email address and your spam folder

Notifications are sent from no_reply@bringme.com to the email address of your Bringme account. Check in your account details that this address is correct and that it is not an address you rarely open. Then search your spam or junk folder for messages from bringme.com: email programs sometimes move automated messages there, for example after an update or a change to a mail filter. If you find one, mark it as Not spam, add no_reply@bringme.com to your contacts or safe senders, and check that no rule moves these emails to another folder.

3. Check the name the delivery is registered under

A notification only goes to the person whose name a delivery is registered under. All deliveries in your name are visible in the Bringme App. If a parcel is not in that list, it was registered under another name, for example your partner, a housemate, a company name or a previous resident. If there is more than one Bringme account at your address, each with its own email address and its own notification preferences, ask the other residents whether they received the message.

4. Missing the push notification too? Check your device

  • Notifications for the Bringme App are allowed in your phone settings, usually under Notifications.
  • Do not disturb, sleep mode or focus is switched off, sometimes it follows a schedule you set earlier.
  • You have a stable wifi or mobile data connection, and background refresh and battery saving do not block the app.
  • The Bringme App is up to date. If that does not help, clear the app cache in your device settings and restart your device.

💡 Tip: these settings often change after a phone update or when you start using a new device. If your notifications stopped on a specific day, start here.

5. Still nothing? Have this ready

If none of the checks above helps, we can look up whether a notification was actually sent and where it ended up. Ask Jaimie and keep this information at hand:

  • The date and time of a delivery for which you received no notification, as precisely as possible.
  • The name of your building or location.
  • The email address of your Bringme account.
  • Whether that delivery is visible in the Bringme App.
  • Whether you are missing the email, the push notification, or both.

Still have a question?

Does this article not answer your question, or do you have another one? You can always ask Jaimie, our AI Agent. You will find Jaimie in the bottom right corner of the Bringme App, in the Bringme web app, or after logging in via bringme.com. Jaimie is still in beta and learning as she goes, so the feedback you leave after a conversation helps her get better.
